Long travel in Romania !

Servus ! 

              Last week in Kindergarten we made with childs hand fish and we were also for saw an non formal lesson about music instruments. Teachers manage that like play. Childrens were really entrusting and quiet. In romani-center we made a group picture of the childrens and after we were asking them to draw themselves for make a reconstitution  of the picture. In Hungarian school we made with kids hand poppet they were enjoying to play all together like if there creations started to be alive. On Thursday at 5 I took the bus to Bucharest 12 hours of travel. I arrived there at  4:50am in the train station almost empty. I was waiting there for the day breaks, I drunk coffee and walk around the station. After I was going in the center around piata romania, I was walking for discover the city but it was cold and windy. At 10 I had a meeting in french embassy for made my passport I do it with success. After that come back in the train station for took the train direction Craiova, there I spend time with an Italian friend Francesca. I met her 1 month ago in the On Arrival Training in Predeal. I spent a really great time in this city, lot of fun and discussions. And right now I arrive from the train station of Baia Mare after 20 hours of travel. I was starting to come back yesterday at 5pm and I arrive today at 2 pm.       

                                                                                                                  I took a night train from Bucharest to Dej in this train I met tree Romanian peoples we had lot of fun even the communication was hard because my romanian is not so good for don`t say it`s bad. But no matters it was good. The train was late so I miss the train for Baia Mare in Dej> So I took another train but finally he stop 4 hours in Jibou (don`t ask me where is it I have no idea of where is it, i`ll check) I spent funny time in the office of the boss of the station we were drinking coffee eating cakes. For explain me the situation he call his son who can translate in English for me. Thanks to all Jibou`s train station staff for your support !! 

And Tada I`m in Baia Mare in the office to write my blog. I hope my adventures give you smile! And the joke is I should to come back in Bucharest soon for take my passport this time. So don`t forget to come back in my blog because I pretty sure you will have fun, for sure something will happen again ! Take care and see you ! Pupicii

 

 

Ice skatting in the streets !

Servus !

         This week was a hard to be fast in the streets everywhere lot of ice and water. We celebrate 2 birthday this week, one on monday (Adela) et the other on friday (Carmen), it was good. In school we made two activities of handcraft. The first one was in Kindergarten and they made "spoon men". With little pastic spoon and some colors paper, they made beautiful spoon men. it was not needed us in Romani-center so on thursday, just Hungarian school. where we made with us zebra masks. They enjoy a lot this activities, but it was also lot of work for us. Because they are little and they can't do evrything. It was very nice to saw them like that.
This week end was a marathon of food, friday night I made a dinner in our flat, vegetarian lazagne. It was good but the worst of the week end was saturday night .... We where eating maybe during 3 or 4 hours. Many different food, salads, pies, cakes, soups, meet.. and maybe I forget some meal. It was delicious but after that I need to go back in sport, if we will continue like that all the 10 month I'll need 2 places in the plane for come back in France!
Sunday was dead day, I was at home all the day. Like a real sunday :)

This it's turkish meal, I don't remenber the name but it was sooooooo good.

Snow, work, terrorist and rock'n roll.

Hey, hey everybody! In first I just want to make sign for my country. I don't know if you hear about this terrorist attack in wednesday 7 January in Paris against the new's paper "charlie hebdo". 12 peoples died and they also touched of the freedom of expression. Yesterday (sunday 11) almost 4 million peoples went in the street everywhere in France. It was the republican march. "La France est debout". Good job guy's all my support and my heart was with you yesterday but also last week. I'm really glad and affected to see all french peoples together and stand up for a common cause. I'm with you from Romania!
In the same time for me was the re-start of work. It was good with lot of snow and cold. We go like every week in kidergarten, romanicenter,  hungarian school and school in a country side Copalnic. We make activities around the mimes and also around the resolutions for this new year.

This week end we were in Arad a city near the border of Serbia. We meet there lot of friends and made very good partys. And discover the city (little bitte). We don't arrive to come back to Baia Mare sunday evenning we has been(with Salomé) blocked in Cluj by the time and the weather. So we arrive finally this morning after a short night in friend flat. 

Holidaaaays oh holidaaaays !

Hey everybody in first I want to wish you a really good year !
3 weeks without article don't worry I'm here ! 3 weeks ago my flatmates and me were in On Arrival

Training in Predeal a little city in the mountain near Brasov during one week with all the volonteers of Romania arrived in November and December. It was amazing to meet lot of peoples from everywhere. And we were staying in a hotel very good hotel with lot of food (chicken and potatoes almost all the time but it was so good and nice to don't cook during one week). We had training with two trainers during days and party with everybody during the night. Hard in the morning but we had a f good breakfast with evrythings you can imagine. (oh I miss it).
So after this amazing trip we caming back Baia Mare (after 12 hours in the train) and my sister was there. It was so good to saw her here in Romania. She was here for the 2 weeks of holidays. So I spend christmas and new year with her. I was so happy she could meet my friends and saw where I live. During this two weeks we make lots of party and we travel a little in Sighetu near the border of Ukraine with Aysel also it was so cold but we visited the communism museum it was intrusting.
And my sister, Aysel and me were in Cluj for the new year in friend's flat. It was so good but just we don't have water in the flat I let you imagine a new year without toilets shower heater and just water for drink the next day after party. It was hard but funny experience. In the 2nd of January my sister took the plane at 6am in the airport of Cluj. So at 4am we leave the flat and going in the airport. It was a bit hard after new year and without sleep but we put my sister in the plane (emotional moment) hard to let her go. after that with Aysel we had to go back Baia Mare but with hitchike so we slept in the airport during 2 hours for wait the sun and cars. At 8am we were on the road we waiting not to much time. And a car took us in Cluj from Dej so after we wait again for another car. In the second car we were so sleeping. Fun things in the both of car peoples can speak a little in French.
It was so good to arrive at home in warm place and finally sleep in a bed. But suprise the washing machine are boken and also the light in the kitchen (welcome home!). Slowly it was the end of this holidays and time to go back work. So I'm here. Have a good day, good year.

Winter is coming (a little)

Servus everybody !
(In this article I will try to write without the word "intrusting" because a friend tell me "Nice your blogg but you write all the time intrusting" so let's go. If you have some suggestions for the next article don't be shy tell me !)
Last week really cold weather in Baia Mare I saw snow in the top of the mountain. But after that the sunshine come back with good temperatures. We will see but I hope we will have snow for christmas!
Last monday was a free day in Romania it's the national day ! And they started to turn on all the
chritmas light. We saw a fireworks, christmas market, speech of the mayor in Romanian (amazing) and concert of local rock band. On Thuesday planning day for the activities in schools and with local volonteers for the international volonteer day in friday. Wednesday normaly we should to go in kindergarten but they prepare a christmas show with their teacher so we doesn't go there. We just have romanian lesson we continue to learn lot of vocabulary.
Attractive day in thursday we were for the first time with our hungarian class. They are 7 years old, really smart and involved it's pleasure to work with them ! The communication was a litlle bit difficult because they speak just hungarian but the teacher was helpfull and friendly with us so it was a great moment. After that we was going at the office for learn the flashmob of friday.
Friday we was with all the volonteers local and evs in Gold Plaza for the international volonteer's day. Lot of volonteer was there for present their organisation. During all the afternoon many demonstrations on the stage of the mall. We saw games, traditional dance and song, singer.. After that for relax we come home and maked a dinner with everybody.
Saturday morning let's go with hitchikking in Cluj Napoca we meet there friends from Baia Mare and from Cluj. Beautiful city it's more bigger than Baia Mare you can found what you want and every sorts of place for make party. We come back in Baia Mare sunday night, we hitchikke under the rain during ...  a long time and it was alreday the night. So we are so happy to arrived in Baia Mare take a warm shower and go to sleep. Of course after that I start to be sick !

Already one month !

Bunà Zuia everybody !

As you can see I start the romanian lessons ! It's really intrusting to learn a new languages in english because in reallity I learn the both in the same time. Now it's more easy to go in shops in Romania I can ask what I want (a little) and understand what I buy.  We have a very good teacher Mircea he is really patient and listenning.
Last thursay (20 november) with all the YMCA EVS volonteers we organise with students league a multicultural-party "ZIT" in Mystique a night club very close to our flat so it's perfect to come back home after.
The next day we go again in copalnic for a first meeting about photovoice project. Childrens should to think about society's topics. After that they will take pictures about that and finally they make an exhibition where they can explain why they want to represent that. After we come back in Baia Mare with the help of a really kind women. This same day it was Aysel birthday and we make surprise in the office. Everybody are in the activity room for whish a happy birthday with a good cake and gifts.
In the night we make a party all together !
On monday we make some decoration for anti violence day. It was in the thuesday. In the morning with my team we are going in the romani-center alone without help, first day of independant for the activities. In the evening with YMCA we organised an event against domestic violences in the old center. On wednesday we are going in kindergarten for make activities with really litlles guys they are 4 years old. It was really funny to try to communicate with them.
Thurday was really sportive day because we was walking in the city all day long for a city hunt. And after we was going with Sopo in gym. So after all of that I'm going home and relaxing in my bed.
And now on friday I write this article and this night we will have a dinner and after a rockn'roll party! Let's go !

Firsts moments in Romania

     Hello everybody I'm Judith from France and I start an European Volontary Service in YMCA Baia Mare Romania. I was arrived the 2^nd Novenber in Cluj-Napoca airport and I took the bus direction → Baia Mare ! I'm here for a project « 4 Youth Performers » during 10 months with 3 others girls ; Orla fron Irlande, Sopo from Georgia and Sarah from germany. (If you want you can follow their life in Romania on their blogs).

When I arrived in Baia Mare the others volonteers are really wellcoming. It's really nice because at the beginning I'm a little lost after the travel.

The first week was really intrusting, we make a lot of trainings with all the YMCA volonteers. It's nice we learn some tools for after and especially for meet everybody. We are 9 volonteers in the organisation ! We make 2 interventions about tolerance in 2 schools. We are in team of 4 peoples, I enjoy this first experience and with my partners we make a really good team.

The last week all the others volonteers have their normal schedules, for us the new volonteers it's the beginning so we go with Salomé and Tazo (from france and Georgia) in their class for see what they do with childrens. It was intrusting. We go in Baia Mare schools but also in the Roma Center where they are childrens from 6 to 16 years. And in Copalnic a small village at 30 minutes to Baia Mare by bus. We hitchhike for come back to Baia Mare we found a beautiful red truck it was nice.

I'm really happy to meet all these new peoples ! It's intrusting they come fro everywhere.

And I meet an other french girl in the organisation. It's nice because we have a lot of common point and we can share about our experiences in french it's more easy... I don't speak very well english so for the moment I'm little bitte frustrated to not being able to communicate what I feel and what I think. But it's getting better day by day !

So from now we can follow week after week my EVS in Romania !
